What was your favorite part of the experience/ event? “I only had a total of 20 people at my actual wedding so I was able to spend more quality time with each person that was there.”
Is there anything that didn’t go as planned? “Yes. One of my bridesmaids put me in contact with a friend of hers who does hair. There was a miscommunication and she was supposed to come to the venue I was getting married to do my hair and my bridesmaids but she didn’t show.”
What was the biggest roadblock that you ran into while planning the wedding? “Caving into everyone else’s needs and wants without catering to my own.”
How much influence did your family/ fiancé have in the planning process? “My husband was deployed. My mother is no longer with us, my brother and dad had no input. My husband’s family had all the influence on my decisions in the planning process.”
Which part of the process gave you the most stress? “The planning process and making sure it worked logistically for everyone in the family.”
