If you are looking for a caribbean honeymoon that won’t break the bank, I highly recommend checking out Cheapcaribbean.com for some deals, particularly all-inclusive packages.  (This is in no way a sponsored article, I’d recommend the site to any stranger I meet.) So, when checking out options for our honeymoon, this was the first place we looked.

We chose Couples Resort Tower Isle, in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. My husband and I have grown to love Jamaica and its people, so we tend to choose Jamaica over other Caribbean destinations for vacations and have stayed in Montego Bay, Negril, and most-recently; Ocho Rios.

“Ummm… yeah.  I’m totally excited…” When your internal thoughts are more like; “I shouldn’t have eaten pasta last night. I don’t know what my dress budget should be. I don’t know what shape will be best for my body. What if I gain weight? What if I lose weight?  How do I know what my signature style is?”

It’s a big decision. I’m not going to lie… I was shaking as I stood in the bridal salon.

After I got engaged, my fiance and I were looking for a Detroit wedding ceremony venue that didn’t have a religious connection.  Somehow (I don’t remember how exactly) I came across the Anna Scripts Whitcomb Conservatory on Belle Isle.  My 2 best friends (and future bridesmaids) scoped it out with me.
