Blake Lively has been making the red carpet rounds at Cannes Film Festival 2016, and basically has murdered everyone else’s red carpet game. Whoever her stylist is will be busy very soon…
Whether or not Blake is a great actress, is a whole other conversation, but at least she’s winning the red carpet. Starring in Woody Allen’s Cafe Society is what brought her to Cannes, but her fashion game has been outshining everyone else – and she’s pregnant!
She kicked off the film festival in this bright red Juan Carlos Obando jumpsuit that almost completely eliminated any sign of a baby bump. That’s pretty smart and sneaky styling! Although I don’t think she needed the necklace, the outfit is so chic.
Next, for the Cafe Society premiere, she chose this gold crystal Atelier Versace gown with strategic mesh cut-outs. The train of this gown is made entirely of Swarovski crystals, and is a little risky-sexy is it not? It was definitely a surprise, but good for her for being so brave.
Opting to cover up a little more for the Opening Gala Dinner, she chose this feathered black coat from Salvatore Ferragamo. Although this look is more muted, the deep V makes it a little more modern and chic.
Attending a luncheon the next day, Blake donned this gold velvet Valentino midi dress. The color is amazeballs.
The next one might be my favorite. This mini dress and cape is a Giambattista Valli, and it’s perfection. The striped shoe is what nails it. Again, you can’t even see the baby bump – it’s amazing!
Blake added a close-up photo to her Instagram:
This bodycon/ scuba-style dress was next. The midi dress was tight, and had some cool cut-outs. Another shot of the look from Blake’s Instagram:
Those shoes are great.
Then, Blake has her Cinderella bride moment that knocked everyone’s socks off. This Vivienne Westwood ball gown is stellar, but I think her hair is what makes it so ‘Disney Princess.’ Remember when Cinderella is running down the (red carpeted) stairs and loses the shoe… um yeah everything happened here except the shoe.
From one Disney Princess to another – Blake channels Elsa in this Atelier Versace blue gown. This is total over-the-top Cannes celebrity greatness. I mean, do you need a train that long for a movie premiere? I guess so!
Posted to Blake’s Instagram account was this shot of her enjoying the French Riviera in a tea-length Cynthia Rowley dress and Sara Flint sandals.
Do you agree that Blake won the red carpet for Cannes? What’s your favorite look?

I just don´t get how she can be so damn perfect every single time? I agree with the fact that the necklace was not necessary with the jumpsuit, but she looks stunning anyway!

Yeah, whoever her stylist is, is killing it! I’m so impressed.
Gah! She is just so stunning all the time!!
She’s totally impressed me with this recent trip. And to be pregnant as well? It can’t be that comfortable, and I bet everything had to be tailored.
