Celebrity(ish) Wedding: Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney

The Vanderpump Rules Co-Stars made it down the aisle in August, but the first episode featuring the beautiful woodland-themed wedding ceremony just aired on Bravo!

A Venderpump Rules Wedding

Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney were (are? – not sure if Katie is still working there) servers at Lisa Vanderpump’s SUR restaurant in West Hollywood, and their relationship became the major storyline in both this and last year’s seasons of Vanderpump Rules.  If you aren’t familiar with the reality show, Tom and Katie’s group of friends and co-workers served as the wedding party, and the cameras followed the group through all of the wedding planning process.

Recently-aired episodes leading up to the wedding ceremony put some doubt into viewer’s minds as to whether or not the couple would actually make it to the alter, after many on-camera fights and a very shaky bachelor/bachelorette celebration in New Orleans with the wedding party.

But, the couple managed to come together and work out their differences (thanks in part to Lisa Vanderpump) right before the wedding festivities began.

Tonight the magic begins ✨ This wedding was sooooo gorgeous and I am so happy I was a part of it. 💕#pumprules #twobubbs

Katie choose a secluded wooded resort location in northern California for the wedding destination, going for a “woodland elegance” theme.  The couple wed at Twenty Mile House (near Reno), where the ceremony was officiated by Lisa Vanderpump.

In accordance with the ‘woodland elegance’ theme, Tom wore a forest green tux, while Katie wore a bohemian-style illusion lace Zuhair Murad gown.  Even reality TV stars have some wedding day hiccups, as Katie encountered a fitting problem when putting on her wedding dress.  The seamstress has added boning after her last fitting, and the boning was digging into Katie’s sides…

Part 2 of the wedding episode airs next Monday with the scenes from the reception, and the conclusion of the wedding festivities.
